Not Stock SS springs, I mean OEM leafs from the factory.

Mid 11's for me...440 smogger with a .557 MP cam and decent 452 heads in a 72 Duster, stock 318 springs.

Anyone in the 10's??

My best back in the late 1990s was 10.48 dont't remember mph. 1.45 60' and 6.65 1/8 mile. That was a .60 over 440 with 452 heads, 727 trans, 29 x 10.5 slicks. Completely stock suspension front and rear in my 68 Roadrunner at 3440# with me in it. That was motor only. Went 6.30s and 1.36 60' with a little shot of nitrous back then. Still have that car but it never gets uncovered.

11.38 @ 119.9 so far. I've seen SS spring cars run 9's... I'm hoping to get my 60 foot down to 1.55 if I can I should be in the 11.teens on a 275 drag radial.

Yep, 9's is easy on s/s springs... the times in my signature were with leafs, cheap ce 3 way shocks on all 4 corners and a 28 by 10 dot tire at 3350 pounds. Could dial the car blindfolded, very consistant and repeatable.
The new owner of the car has now been 9.62 at 140 with the car with a few motor upgrades, just footbraking it, still retains same stock suspension, tires, shocks etc. Not minitubbed or anything.

69 Dart GTS A4 Silver All steel, flat factory hood, 3360race weight
418 BPE factory replacement headed stroker, 565 lift solid cam
Best so far, 10.40 @127 1/4
1.41 best 60 foot
6.60 at 103.90 1/8

Here is an old leaf car from back in the day ....... I just saw this post on fb...... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=...e=1&theater John Petrie's old MP I believe Duster..... Couple seasoned guys are commenting on the rear separation, like the younger guys would not get it. Yes this car is working.
It is funny and sad at the same time. I have been telling this young guy all season that his rear suspension does not work (No rear separation)!!!! He continually tests his car with the tire spin.....lol He has even been telling people I give him poor advice.... God help us..... lol

My suspension is very stock other then SS springs and Comp 90/10 shocks up front. The rest is all stock and I use the longer C-body shocks in the rear. 10.70's with no problems and a 1.50 sixty in my 3700 lb 63. I know I have seen cars in the 9's on basically just SS springs. Mine is a street car as I drive it alot. Ron
