1. Does the 4.7L use the same spark triggering method/hardware as the 5.7L/6.1L Hemi's??
(This question is related to the idea of using aftermarket controllers used on the 5.7/6.1 on a 4.7)

2. Has anyone here wired either of the above using a factory harness & computers and "weeded out" the emissions related parts successfully?
I'm assuming trouble codes would be recorded on these obviously, but does the engine run in a limp mode?
