My rear quarter trim and trunk trim is pretty dinged up. I'm wondering if anyone has used the repops that are out there. If so, what's the word on them?? Any good??

Where did you get them and what did you pay??

Thanks for any info,
Scott

I bought a set from metro years ago. The 1/4 trim was not remotely close. I sent them back for a refund. I later bought a set on ebay not sure of the manufacturer but the seller said they were not metro so I gambled bought them and they fit. In fairness to Metro this was a few years ago and they may have corrected them by now. I think BE&A sells the rear Challenger trim that would be a good bet for decent repro trim.

Got mine from R/T Specialties. They look really nice, but I haven't installed them yet, so I can't say how they fit.

Isn't there a difference between the rear trim on a '70 and the '71-4? Also the same for the front of hood trim?

Although slight, there is a difference. The '70 is a one-year only design and a rather flat face edge. Years later the moldings added an extra "profile" line stamped into the facing of all three pieces. Remember the "Astro-tone" finish panel was only 1970 trim piece which matches the flat edge profile of the R & L corner pieces. The front hood molding is the same for 70-71.

The current '71-4 reproductions are excellent - not sure if it's Metro who makes them or someone else.

"The front hood molding is the same for 70-71." ***

don't the 71 hood trims mount through the bottom of the hood and have a wide flat bottom area as opposed to the 70 which mounts through the front or nose of the hood ? .

Correct: And the 71 slash version is half painted with black as well.
