I just did some touchup with Delstar and no hardener, it will dry but takes a little longer.

no hardner in acrylic enamel, can you do that? won't the paint stay soft...
You can, but the result is not nearly as durable as catalyzed paint. The catalyst actually "cross links" the molecules. That means its literally a different finish, and is far more durable. Harder, more chemically resistant etc.

Do NOT use DT reducer, it is for urethanes. Chances are you will ruin your paint in a quick and fast hurry. You need the appropriate enamel reducer.
As noted, it will air dry with time. The hardener makes it much faster but is not necessary.

That's what I have found from google searches but I wasn't sure if it was just a PPG sales gimmick. I will call tomorrow and see if I can get the appropriate reducer. I would imagine I can use anyones reducer as long as its for acrylic enamel, right.

Correct, I believe any acrylic enamel reducer will work fine. I've used DTR in Dupont just fine. As long as the system is the same, you shouldn't have any problems. Always try to mix a little first to see if it has any weird reactions. I've had paint curdle like bad milk because of old or wrong components.

Don't change the ratio, just don't add the hardener, like said above.
Thanks, I will try that.
