79machocharger OP master Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 5,443 ME	I getting ready to pull the power windows mechanism out of a 89 or 90 dodge ram and was wondering if any one has a schematic for one so I can see where all the wires go. Hopefully there easy to get to under the dash I don't want to pull every thing out to get to where they connect. I'm kind of hoping they disconnect behind the kick panels and I can just make my own harness to make them work. I'm also taking out the power locks as well. I'm installing it all in my 78 ramcharger. Thanks for any help.

The only things that I saved were the brake light switch, the VIN tag (I will relocate it) and the bracket with the P-brake mechanism. Everything else was given to a fellow club member for his Ramcharger. I converted both doors to manual windows. buildanother I Live Here B Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 11,543 chicagoland,usa	I put the whole setup in an 89 ramcharger years ago. did not take dash out, but I recall having to tilt it back a hair maybe to put the harness across the firewall. I installed the entire pw and pdl setup, and most impressive was the fact that the switches went in same location on door panel as the window cranks had been located. Spent 2 out of a 3 day mem day holiday getting it done.

Thanks for any help. your best bet is an 80...and they are tough to find. The later ones will be a little tougher to install. Dinuba, California, Home of the PALOMINO ranch and 440 truck farm, where dodge trucks have a home. Have Four 1979 dodge PALOMINO trucks now.
