What does that have to do with a key buzzer? What kind and year of car?

You didn't say what year and car but if it's anything like my column in my 73 Charger, you will need to carefully pry the top housing piece off with two flat head screwdrivers.

I actually used two tiny pry bars -- one on each side and slowly worked the piece off the column shaft. Most likely you will chip the paint to be ready.

Lets try a different way. Is the buzzer bad? If so, and it's a 71 or newer, the buzzer is not in the steering column. Its in the horn relay. So, exactly what are you talking about?

True. I was assuming this was referring to the buzzer switch and not the buzzer itself.

Kinda like pulling teeth isn't it. All I hear is crickets from the OP. I guess me and you could just talk about what buzzers and steering columns have to do with each other.
