rickstershemi OP master Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 9,366 Lehigh Acres, Florida	Some of you may remember my 360/408 pump gas build (Mike Thompson Racing Engines) Well.....awhile back a local Mopar Nut made me a deal on the 408 I couldn't refuse....long block minus tunnel ram and carbs. Great guy with a beautiful Scamp....street car, 727, 3500 stall vert, 3.91 gears, 26" tires, 1 5/8" long tube headers, 2.5" exhaust through turbo mufflers. Made 391 HP the other day on a chassis dyno on 93 pump swill I was quite impressed with the numbers for a J-headed 408....only change was a airgap intake and 800 vac holley carb. So i'm guessing 460 - 480 at the flywheel...????? Anyway.....he's a happy camper Rickster
