I am planning to run my pure stock 2013 5.7 Charger R/T in a couple of weeks at MIR. I have experience. What I don't have is sticky tires...but the track has pretty good traction. It has the 245/45R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Is there any way I can expect to get any traction? What tire pressure? Spin them in the water or try to do a dry burnout? It's not a race car but I'd like to get as good a time as possible and probably won't get many time runs...

Manual trans---no way unless you leave traction control on, and then car will be a dog. Auto trans maybe. 22 psi in tires. Turn traction control off, do a mild burn out and then turn traction control back on. Should run low 14s/high 13s if bone stock.

A friend of mine ran some 11.90s in his 02 Camaro SS on the stock F1s. Bone stock car with a dry shot of nitrous. That car was so quite you could hear the nitrous spray into the air filter box(remember dry shot) when he left the line lol.

Mine's an automatic. It has a launch control feature. I'll try 24 psi and taking off the air filter. I'm hoping for high 13's.

Looks like good advice. Thanks!
