I just got back from the paint store and had my first
trans problem... ran fine going there then on the return
it didnt want to shift out of first/low gear.. figured
it might be low on fluid so I pulled over and checked
that... it was a touch low so I topped it off... still
wouldnt shift so I drove back home with it in low
gear till about a mile away from home.. then it shifted
into high OD... I checked the cable and that seems to
be fine(figured it might have melted) but I'll have
to look better.. it shifted into neutral and park fine..
I sure hope I dont have to pull the trans... it acted
like the cable was burt through and stuck in manual low...
sure did rev on the way home at 35 mph with 4.10 gears

It did run strong BUT this SOB is fighting me BIG TIME..
