I noticed that same thing last night. Did they use stencils for the small lettering back then.??? Maybe just 2 different stencils.
Also what is the "Blue Logo" on the qtr.panel in that photo.? Must have been before "Spring Road Auto Sales" joined up. Looks like it says MPC

MPC was a sponsor on the Missile. I think interest was waning, as the sponsor's names became less recognizable. Ultimately, I think that led to the Rod Shop stuff. Money has always been a major issue.
