Install the Diff bumpers. Problems; The bracket where the main brake cable meets the right and left cables also where the adjuster is was removed to install the forward spring boxes. Not sure what to do? Both right and left cables are too long because of the shortened diff. Not sure what to do here either? Any ideas welcome!

Problem Solved! The Parking Brake Bracket mounted nicely to the drivers side spring box and with a little rerouting and persuasion of the right and left brake cables, we now have parking brakes!

I installed the Drive Shaft and decided to install the column shift linkage and Throttle Pressure (Kick Down) linkage too. That's were I ran into another issue, the Kick Down linkage hits the bell housing side selector shaft arm while in Park and Reverse. Did I mention how much I love my Lincoln Mig Welder? A little hammer straight, a little cut here, a little grind there and break out the Mig Now, that works better.

I have the same issue with my '67 Satellite. If you look close, the rubber bushing has actually pulled through to the under side of the frame mount! No, I didn't install these, it's how I received the car. Must have been a local mechanic that did the work for the elderly couple I purchased the car from. Later project!

You have to Thank the Moderators for the "Cha Ching Cheapo" Someone on this forum was commenting on how "Expensive" it becomes when you cut corners and use "El Cheapo" imported parts and they fail. I Chimed in because I noticed that "El Cheapo" refers to a part made in Latin America and since most the imported parts now come from China, I thought the correct phrase would be "Cha Ching Cleapo". Well it stuck and for some time that was my "Status". As for your question, I'm not sure I want (or for my wife) to know how much. I'll probably gather my notes and receipts some day. Thanks for the encouragement

One thing I noticed climbing into the trunk to sand, the super stock springs don't give at all Hard as a ROCK!? The stock springs would at least budge when I (225lbs) would climb aboard? I hope they soften a bit.
