Patience when bending the lines is very helpful. I was able to remove the exhaust from the muffler back on the right side to ease the fitting the fuel tube.

i installed a Wix filter #33033 (3/8" inlet and outlet) just to keep things cleaner in the new fuel system.

I think these custom mufflers might be a bit loud. They are chambered but not much. I hope to get it running soon and hear them.

Thanks, To answer your question, I'm not sure you can just wipe off a Zinc coating. I think it's more like a melted coating on the metal kinda like galvanizing or solder. I washed the upper tank surface with a cleaner (acetone) and lightly scotchbrited it before coating. I haven't considered clear coating the underside. Might just do it too, good idea. Thanks

sorry for the long delay in updating the build. life has a way of creating roadblocks and bumps to side track attention to our toys. we finally got around to test fit the wheels to see if we measured everything correctly in the mini-tubbing and axle narrowing. i am happy to say, following the cliche "measure twice, cut once" was well worth the effort!

Those wheels look great, especially with your paint and stripe.
Wow I didn't know I stuttered

Thanks. Are you familiar with my build ? If so, may I ask how would you begin to figure a fair price to ask? Thanks again. Ricky
