Can you change a 74 Barracuda front bumper into 72 style.
If so what do you need?

if you have the brackets

1. Remove the bumper with the brackets installed.

2. Remove the rubber filler strip that was used on the 73's and 74's.

3. Locate the "square" holes in the bumper brackets...forward of the slotted bumper mounting holes.

4. Drill out the "square" holes to 5/8". These now become your new mounting holes.

5. Remove the large bumper guards from the bumper and fill the hole with an extra chrome capped bumper bolt.

This mod will push the bumper in next to the body like the 70-72's.

For the rear i bought the 72 brackets, do i need a 72 bumper?
or is there a trick for that?

You will just have to try the rear and see. The bolt holes might be in a different location.

you will need the earlier bumper for the rear. The bolt holes do not line up.
