Anyone nervous yet....Getting pretty close now.

So now I'm riding shotgun again (Trunk Monkey) with Jay Brown.
We are taking his 69 Mach I, with the 545"FE highriser wedge. The motor is areally cool build with a ton of home made parts.

We should be running in Big block naturaly aspirated street race. The cars biggest limitation is traction. It is a real R-code (428 Cobra Jet) Mach I, so jay isn't willing to cut up the body to fit bigger tires. And he wants to stick with a stock appearing theme as much as possible, so nothing has been done to lighten it. We will be leaving for Drag Week with this combo mostly untested.

Doesn't look like DusterDJ is going to make it . He found that his intake runners on his heads were cracked and leaking water. The guy cant seem to catch a break.
