No - The car that Frank bought was John Hadjis' - which was the salt test car. Mine was the low sodium model.

any pics of the shaker hole-i`ve seen a pic of one of the cars roger did and the shaker hole was in a wierd spot-just curious (no pun intended) on why the cable exited there. the right front fender had a bad mis alignment to the grill area as well
all the best
frank.

A contractor in the San Francisco CA area had a promo car restored and then sold it when the economy went south. I think this may have been the car. As far as I know it was pretty rough, missing drive train and fender tag. Chuck Hoffman may know more about it.

never seen A28 on a fender tag, N97 meant it didn't have tips. correct me on this, I thought N97 was for 1970 models, not 1971??

My old 6bbl 71... N97 N98... sold new in California... also note the "I" for international sales; it was a military ordered car.

The N42 and N97 are on the second tag of the car I was originally inquiring about. Note that both are not on Jason's posted tag.

No, you can find N95 and N97 on a 70 tag.

& the cars have SHAKERS that are NOT coded on the tags

FJ5 - what's the sequence number on your car's b'cast sheet?

Mine is (2)000732

The b-cast sequence on one of the other cars is 000786

Some of the other M #'s on real, documented cars are: M01099 and M01102

The sheet I posted a portion of is one of the "Dealer Announcement Units" for CANADA - BH23G1B100011. For the '71 model year, Canada also had 383 2bbl Barracuda convertible "Dealer Announcement Units".

Has anyone seen any other "PROMO" '71 Barracudas/Gran Coupes/'Cudas?

So is 100100 a legit car with incorrect re-pop tags?
