Believe it or not, I can't find a matching tan spray paint for my interior pieces. The car is a '77 Monaco cop car. I've been to every auto parts store, Walmart, Lowes, etc and nobody has anything close.

Has anybody found a tan that matches these cars?

Thanks

It may be a stretch but, that looks like a tone I see where paints are sold for camo'ing firearm, etc.

Weird as, when I had to desert tan some sub gun mags I had, I actually tripped across the paint at a local ACE hardware (but, that was over 10 years ago)

When I need paint for camo projects now, I go to Brownells ( www.brownells.com ) IIRC

Sure hope this helps ya

Best o' success!

Have you tried Herb's Parts? They have their own line of paints. Maybe they have it.

Take the panel with you to the auto paint store, and ask them to match it in an SEM dye. Make sure you buy the correct plastic primer to go with it.

Herb's has two browns and a saddle. Maybe one of them is correct?

What he said. And when you go, pick up some POR Marine Clean. Clean all your parts in a 10:1 solution of that stuff (WEAR GLOVES) and it will strip all the old oil/armorall and dirt right off. Spray with the SEM Surface Prep and follow up with the top coat and it will look good as new. Actually BETTER cause it will all match!!! Best way to go about it after my experience is with a quart mixed to the right color and a detail gun. the stuff is easy to shoot and will make you look like a pro.

I’m listening.

Of course they don't have it!!!
Find a REAL auto body paint store where they will make you a batch.

First you have to go here:

http://paintref.com/paintref/index.shtml

Find your color. Then go to these guys:
There's not an interior color they can't do.
