1966 coronet 318 727.How tight should the trans pan bolts be.The torque wrench I have measures in foot pound.Thanx.

Checking my shop manual, in inch lbs, the torque on oil pan bolts should be 150. Converted to ft pds, that would be 12.5 lbs.

They were still a little loose.Now up to specs..Thanx.....Will see how it goes later.

Not real tight, you should just start to see the gasket compress a bit.
