AWlcnm member A Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 1 Las Cruces, NM	Update; I went by this afternoon to see Arlen,his rate of recovery is improving.The nurses reported he did better this morning in PT, and he mentioned it did seem easier. He has what seems like a 1/4 mile hall way which they use to work on his mobility. They wont let him eat or drink yet, so he longs for his first cheeseburger. I wish he would of told me Sunday, but his birthday was yesterday. The staff got him a bunch of balloons and things. I only met Arlen a few years ago at the local dragstrip,when he moved down here to help care for his mother. One can see why he was so successful,the intensity is still there - along with a great sense of humor and wit. Anyone want me to convey a message to him, I will be going back Friday. Andy Wiles
