made up a torque strap from 2 engine to trans braces, used some shock rubber bushings/cup washer on a bolt thru the frame..ugly but cheap and effective.
Are you gonna side step the clutch at 5k?
not with a 318
what??? that is the only way to get a 318 to do anything.
the muff are nice. whole new sound for it, and the whiplash roller cam gives them a nice burble gurgle 750 rpm idle.
the torque strap on the engine along with the traction bars are just what it needed to day.

looking good Mike. I was just thinking the other day I'd like to finish my duals comint out in front the the rear wheels, but way too many irons in the fire this year. sucks cause there is a RC rear tank in the classifieds.

I think it was on sender?? but I only read the one negative coment IIRC.
that looks like the same tank I gots..does it have the sender? drain plug?
remember..I moved mine back further so you may want to mock yours up good before you decide.
my tank came with everything including bolts. the sender was api brand or something but it looks like nice quality. the tank does have the drain plug. i also opted for the 20 gallon over the 22 galon so it gives me a little more room on top i hope. im gonna put my cap in the bed floor

thanks for the kudos guys. lot of work to go fishing. the traction bars are done and work great. got the boat cleaned up a rewired the lights, just need to add a pigtail to the truck harness next. drop shackles dropped it just enuff I don't have to lift the trailer now. dirt boat ramps should be no trouble now.
