What product are you guys using to install the plastic liner behind our door panels. The original stuff was like a white calk. I know 3M sells a black calk but hter must be something out there.

Thanks

You can get/order it from Ace Hardware, along with the tape.

I just got the thickest roll of plastic I could find, then I took 3M spray adhesive and sprayed the high spots stuck it to it and trimmed when dry. Works out kinda neat.

DMT has a white strip caulk they include with the heater box kits. I'd call and ask them about it.

I bought some precut barriers on e bay that came with a gray caulk. Just did a google search and can only find the previous 3M black and this stuff from Eastwood:

I have had good luck with all 3M products.

BTW, the electricians I work with call the stuff dum dum.

It's actually called butyl tape. The big three have been using it for 60 years.

Amazon sells the 3m black strip caulking. I used that and the thickest plastic sheeting I could find at Lowe's. The part number for the 3m stuff is 08578
