Im considering installing a Line Lock on my shorty with the OD833. Not to be used for burnouts but as a hill holder. We have some fairly steep hills with stoplights around here. Do any of you guys have 1 on your truck. What brand. Where did you mount it? Im thinking about a bracket that uses the 2 master cylinder/booster studs for mounting. I hve a 2 spoke steering wheel with the holes in it so I will mount the button in the left outer most hole for activation..

I cant think of any easy way to mount it on a Pistol Grip shifter that would be easy to operate., a normal shifter no problem..

Putting the button in the wheel will be a pain.I know.Had it there on my 65.Every time you make a turn it wraps around the TS arm.It finally broke the wire at the button.I had a plate made up for my Pistol grip.It worked but was a pain to power shift. With the stock stick its easy to attach. My lock is mounted at my master.Been there for 5 or 6 years and no problems.Rocky

Just build a bracket so the switch isnt attached to the wheel but behind it in a spot you can reach with your thumb yet clears when turning

I tossed the bracket I made for my PG.Its buried in the garage somewhere.Ive thought about getting one of the Hurst PGs with the button and retapping it to fit my stock 65 stick.Someone was supposed to make a top with button for the factory PG.Ive been looking for one for years. That would be the ticket.Rocky

I put a hurst roll control in my RC. Put it on the back of the engine crossmember (4wd has the line coming down right there). Can't recall if 2wd has same brake line placement. Also purchased the hurst t handle shifter with button. Several shift knobs have switches built in. Easiest for what you want to do IMO

you don't say... if you had after market wheel an you did not hook the horn up.. it wouldn't be hard to build a bracket that connect's to the column an bend's up with a push button on it kind of like a paddle shifter ya know?? just some idea's

I have used a micro switch from radio shack attached to the shifter stem just under the handle with a home made bracket. I used my pinky finger to operate it. I used coiled wire down to the boot, and then under the carpet to the solenoid and power source.

I have a new Comp Plus shifter but my Pistol Grip is the push in style and the new 1 is the bolt on style. I dont really want to drill the holes in the PG but if push comes to shove The new handle has the same bend as the factory 1 but nowhere near the class of the PG..
