theraif master Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 7,135 my own world	i agree on the swap stuff but for ride comfy that ford front end is a good idea as its all in one package but for the engine why not a gen3 hemi if they got to fab stuff up. but for easy resale toss a stupid ls in it

I think there is a chance it might have had a gm engine in it to begin with? Plus, the truck was sitting there broke and it had not run for a really long time, which would be considered normal if it had a gm engine Rich H. Esse Quam Videri

It had 383 emblems on the hood and they didn't show much of the engine but what I did see was an oil fill spout on the front of the intake that is what the older 60's SBC's had. Sheldon
