I am so sorry. My wife and I have been so sad about Owen. Thank you for sharing his story - he's made a difference in our lives. I truly look at my two little ones differently, try to have more patience, and try to squeeze the most out of every day with them. Bless you and your family.

What you have done is involve people and make people aware of the pain by posting on this website. This has made me more aware of the suffering and heartache that cancer causes. Your decision to involve us and keep us posted may help fight against cancer for others.

Darren my heart goes out to you and your family. I lost my dad this morning to cancer also. It's been a really sad day. I will keep you in my prayers. Just feel safe in knowing that Owen and my dad are both in gods hands now and no longer suffering.

I too have been dreading this day. It was so hard to imagine the feelings you had knowing that it was coming.

I hope you know how much everyone here cares.

Iowa is a long way from Newfoundland but it sure do not lessen the sorrow I have in my heart for the passing of Owen . Be rest assured, that somebody somewhere has a better plan for Owen.
