What year Barracuda? All E-body console automatics are Slap Stik, whether 904 or 727.
A-bodies never came with the Slap-Stik.

It should be a slapstick , if it's not it will be easy to make it one .
As far as it being worth it , it is if you feel the need to manaully shift it alot , like drag racing , just don't down shift to 1st while moving over 5mph , if you don't it it hardly worth the effort .

Yep, I'm sure. Maybe it doesn't say Slap Stik, but if it's the original shifter for the car, it is one.
Now if someone monkeyed with it over the years, that could be a different story.

Mine is a '74 and it also does not SAY slap stik But, if you put it into 1st and push forward, does it lock into second until you let off pressure? Then, when you push forward does it lock into drive? If you answered "yes" then its a slap stik
