Hi all, My '69 440 has the "402" stamped oil pan with baffles. I'm confused as to which is the correct pickup to order. The MoPar catalog lists a P4529565 as a 6 qt 3/8 pipe RB engine but also lists a P5007848 6 qt 3/8 pipe use with Oil Pan P5007807AB which is described as a 5 qt center sump stock style. Um... help, LOL Thanks, Mike

Someone at MP changed the pickup descriptions and they are WRONG for the most part, the 565 pickup is not for a 383 with 6qt pan because that pan was never installed on a 383, the 565 pickup is the one to use with the hemi pan in any block that uses a 3/8 pickup tube.

the pickup you want is P4529564 ...

Incidentally this exact question has been answered numerous times over the years , using the google search tab at the top of the page would have come up with it .

Not surprised the descriptions are changed/incorrect. At SEMA last year the Mopar display had small block valve covers under a sign that said Big Block. LOL Thanks, I'll try to locate the #564 pickup. That's supposed to be the one with the "U" tube instead of the straight tube correct?
