Don't want to change the Master cylinder / Booster setup since this is a restoration, but looking to upgrade the disc/drum setup that will fit the stock 14" wheels. Any recommendations of what brand. Anyone done this upgrade? What did you use, what kind of improvement? Any info appreciated. This is for a 69 B BODY.

a suggestion would be to switch to Ceramic pads/shoes then do a bed in (breakin) procedure.

Thanks, I usually do that with these type of cars. Most likely problem is these are old style. Hoping maybe someone can recommend a brand of vented rotors that will fit 14" that they have used with good results.

Not clear to me, you have currently drums or disc up front? 14" wheel Disc options are rather limited performance wise, but still an improvement over drums. No need IMO to change anything in rear unless repeated high speed stops are anticipated, and then discs in rear would help the small 14" wheel discs in front. A little more info would be helpful.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Got stock setup, PDB front, drum rear. Using 14" stock tires. Want to keep stock look, so cannot change booster or tires. Only option is maybe better rotors? Just asking around what other may have used to get better stopping power. Seems to fade after driving awhile. Everything on there now is new, including lines. Looking for suggestions

If you have ceramic pads and they fade you have a problem.I run stock Mopar discs on my 65 from a later Mopar. The ceramic pads work great. They never fade even at 120.I believe Brembo makes or made slotted rotors.I run stock type rotors and it street driven also.Rocky
