Legendary sold a well known rebodied 66 hemi satellite(black) a couple years back without any mention of the "rebodying" so I would be cautious of any of their cars,as i would be with any dealer out there.

To people that know to use even 1/2 an ounce of common sense in doing their due diligence, their legendary reputation speaks for itself.
Everybody else gets what they deserve. It's the best education they will ever get.

Another example of why you do not pay any more for a "matching numbers" car than you would a non matching car. It's just a car.

I always think back to my early Mopar days--I had a guy call, You have a 68 hemi block? What is the date? Shows up next day from 3 states away, pays my asking price that was pretty high for a block that had the side blown off it. Next thing you know he wins Best of Show at a BIG Mopar event with guess what -- A Numbers matching car that has an amazing low original miles showing. I learned a lot from that experience.

You people are all crazy , who cares if this car is legit or not , if the numbers are faked or not .

Just pay the money and ...

That's what I have learned from those that I thought had morals on this site ...

Nope. If these were "just cars", ie. used for transportation to get from one place to the other, they would have all been recycled into Hyundais by now.

How a collectible car was originally equipped and the original parts and documentation to support that definitely DO change what a car is worth (whether you think it should or not).

You can't justify what these scammers and rip-off artists try to do, you just have to be smarter than they are. This particular attempt was pretty pathetic. Thank god for Moparts.

I have a few ex "friends" that are no longer friends over this issue. I'm kind of happy about that, the sooner you know peoples morals the better it is. I'd sooner have one trustworthy friend than fifty that would shoot you in the back for a quarter.
