Last week I installed new Calvert Racing front shocks on the D-50.I just had stock shocks on it before. Now when I make a pass the truck wants to go to the left a little and I have to sorta fight it a bit while I am going down the track.A guy told me that it looked strange while going down the track. The left front is way up in the air and the right rear is alot lower than the left rear.It has Caltract bars and 9 way adjustable shocks on the rear. The bars have no preload on them.
Anybody have any ideas how to fix the issue without putting the stock shocks back on. Thanks....

See if the LF shock is seized for some reason (see
if the LF will bounce up and down... check the other
side while your at it)

My car love them shocks best thing I ever did !

tighten up right rear shock. if it is driving left you need to put a little pre load in the right.

I went out and pushed up and down on the front and both sides seemed the same. It is very loose on the front.

And you said all you did was change the front shocks
and now the truck is acting all weird .. am I correct
on this... sounds like its a shock issue to me but
it COULD be a bad shock like it has no oil in it...
just a guess

Did you try compressing and extending them before putting them on? If not maybe it's time to remove and test them I had three different sets of fronts shocks on my Duster, (several different sets, including drilled ones on my Dart and C.E. 90/10) stock, QA1 and Koni SPA. I liked the Koni the best, the QA1 kept the front end up in the air way to long Not everybody likes the same results, did your 60 ft or reation times get better, if not go back to what you like the best

Mr. P Body I am going to swap the front shocks around and see if that makes a difference. If one is bad I think it should act different than it does now good or bad.

Same problem here, I sold them to a friend after I removed them, he was well aware of the issues and I told him to try them first.
He liked them and they worked great on his car. Similar weight and HP, longer wheelbase (B v's E). Go figure

I put some preload on the passenger side Caltract bar and the truck drives alot better going down the track. It had about 1/8 gap before.I guess I can keep the Calvert front shocks on.More tuning next week.
