Disclaimer: Bob has told me this car is begging for a 1050 Dominator....it has been noted..

I'm also looking at the AED 1000cfm 4150...any input on gains over a 850 Holley with either of these two carbs?...just keeping my options open since my air pan, linkage, throttle stop and intake are all set up for 4150....thanks

I'm not disputing the wisdom Ted.. ...just curious to see if the bigger 4150 would be worth the time.. Truthfully the car is plenty fast enough for me...but some more mph Throttle Stop racing would be nice.

Got one on my car and I love it When I put the dual plane on needed a 4150 so I sold the Dominator and got the Pro-Max/Quick fuel 4150 and it performed perfect out of the box.I have since read my plugs and bumped the jets 2 sizes and now it's even better.

If you want to make the 2 hour drive you can try it out My car won't be back together for a few weeks.

I have only 484 cubes on my Hemi, and I typically run a lot of carb on my combo, but when I called Patrick he recomended a Pro Series 1000 4150 instead of the SV1 on my combo. Its basically a dominator with a 4150 flange. It flows over 1000cfm and has the 50cc pumps, and Dominator metering blocks.

Works really well out of the box. I have the fastest ET to date with this over my efi and other carbs. Plugs look good too. If your trying to not buy an intake for a dominator, I would probably go with this or an SV1...The SV1 works on either style flange....And I was not sure if mine would be well into the +700hp range or just peak at 700hp, so I went with the 4150 for now. If I squeek out another 50hp somewheres, the SV1 makes better sense.

I could lend it to you for a couple of weeks, my Hemi is comming out again. I seem to have the worst luck....

Eric I would take Dragula up on that deal. I think your car would love a 2" adapter and a Dominator but as you said, you would have to buy other parts too so it makes sense to stay with a 4150.

We have the intake for the 4500.
A new word has been established "Askhole"and defined as a person who constantly asks for advise but never listens.
Word around these parts is Eric is scared to let that big dog loose.

I'd take Dragula up on his offer as well.

FWIW I went from my tried and true 750HP to an AED 1000HP and picked up about .05 in the 1/4. This was on my 525hp pump gas 390" motor.

What the grumpy bear fails to realize is that the intake is not the only change I would need to make...some of which are sensitive...a word probably not in his vocabulary...

Approx 700-725 based on ET I would think Dragula..

Sensitive is that another word for, frugal or cheap, like Eric is sensitive to the cost. But seriously if you want to stay with a 4150 a 1000 cfm would certainly work, then you can throw some timing in the bad boy. If you want to try out the manifold you are certainly welcome to pick it up(you have to buy the gaskets)

The QF1050 is a nice carb. I have one on my 572ci pump gas build and it runs great and makes excellent power. On the dyno we compared the QF-1050 vs an 1150 dominator and the difference was 6hp on a 720+HP build.

I run one for 1 season prior switching to alcohol and the toilet. Really liked it but didn't like the price of fuel. Eric PM me if you are interested. QF 1050 annular 4150. Beep

I love my QF 1050. I ran Jim's Dominator back to back and it ran the same times. Needless to say I kept mine as it was nicer to drive on the street. Obviously with some tuning the Dominator would make more power, but I was content with QF.
