So...the general consensus is the Mopar Box is too flimsy a deal? And I saw it was mentioned but I don't recall an answer - is the front spring eye on a Chevy 25" mono leaf the same width as a Mopar leaf? If not, what is the width, and if a different width front bracket needed - heck a different / longer Cal Trac bar needed? If you had the Mopar bar already can it still be used, maybe with a few more parts and pieces, or does it too have to be changed?
I have a Mopar A body Cal Trac bar / Mono leaf set but have yet to install it, nor install any sort of relocation spring box, but this topic has me thinking ahead to maybe considering setting it up ahead of time to accommodate both the Chevy 25" front segment leaf and Mopar leaf, with additional holes, if possible. Better to do it once, one time...

The Mopar or similar boxes are fine as many use them and once in place washers can be welded on the outside of the hanger for extra strength. The ft. 25" segment has the same eyelet and sizing as the Mopar one so it just bolts in but moving it 5" foreward is interesting and if you have a plasma cutter, you could cut the time WAY down............pics soon of the butchery then final photos to follow.

The boxes are only 1/8" material but so is the frame rail. Besides, the holes are close to the rails and crossmembers so there should be plenty of strength there. If the spring eyes were out towards the end of the boxes it would be a whole different story. The boxes are 3-1/4" inside.
Don't cut out both sides of the framerail, notch the rail so one side of the box fits against the inside of the rail which will double the thickness of one side of the box. drill a series of holes in the framerail so you can plug-weld to the box. For an added measure, cut a patch out of the floor so you can weld the box in inside the frame rail. Weld the patch back in when you're done.
