No one that I know of
and, when you find them on ebay,etc..
Look out
I can't believe no one in the aftermarket makes them
but .. nope

Edelbrock used to make them, but they have been out of production for decades and are $$$$ if you find a set. Gary Pavlovich sold the Australian ones for a while. Have no idea if they are still offered by him or anyone else.

Anything that is strictly Poly is big bucks. I should have bought a dozen Weiand 7503s 10 years ago, they have tripled in price since then. Realistically, the intake on my '64Dog is worth as much as the rest of it! Hothemiheads sells a DeSoto intake that looks really nice, I have contacted the actual maker of them to step up with a Poly 318 version, I can see him selling more of those than DeSoto Hemi intakes. But no reply. www.vintagev8s.com is the website, I believe. So if you're a Poly person drop him a line and stimulate some action! R.

If the Eddies are nice
I'd buy them for $800
I would send them off to get some made
(they would not have the Edelbrock name)
My guess is , the price for re-pops would be about $300.00
Think a guy could sell 150-200 sets fairly easy ?
like within 6 months ?

One bolt hole. My understanding is that the early (pre 61?) poly had 3 and the later had only 2. I was also told that you can just drill/tap the rocker stand on the later model to use the 3 bolt covers.

The covers I was offered were in good/fair used condition. Some welded repair on the under side of one, not visible from the outside. Would need to be cleaned/polished/repainted, but there is no supply so you take what you can get.
Pretty sure the Fountains are a little bit more than that. I found this place which I think is a distributor, but it's still in Aus. Don't know if Fountain direct would be cheaper. I'm sure they would be if you were going to buy 150-sets! It's the shipping that's a killer. I sold an aluminum Weiand poly 4bbl intake to Aus. Cost about $150 just to ship.
$500 for the repro makes me think I'd rather pony up the $800 for vintage. But if the vintage aren't available I'm sure there would be buyers.

My bad, didn't know they actually made any for sale ??
And I figured I could get them done for $300
see above ^^
but, I would not get into it for that margin if they are selling them already

Yeah, the Fountain are supposedly still available, though I haven't heard of anyone who has bought them lately.
IMO it's too much of a niche market to try to reproduce them here. I guess they sold the poly engine quite a bit longer in Aus, so there is more demand for parts there.

Has anyone purchased a set of these 318 Poly finned aluminum valve covers. They look pretty nice. Do you have to polish them yourself?
Anyone have a set of Edelbrock 318 Poly finned aluminum valve covers you want to part with?? PM me if you do. Thanks.

What is this MATCHED SET business ?.... aren't they the same side to side ? And 425 retail ?..... I would think they could be done HERE .... for less than that ... .... on a decent sized initial order.
