I need a set of 426 Hemi main caps for an early 2000 issued Mopar Perf Hemi block, what are the best sources?

Jerry. Got my 472 1999 Mopar Hemi block in Grand Rapids right now. Got some brand new cnc Ported Stage V's for it for a big winded direction. What benefits would I gain going with your awesome pieces over what Mopar gave it? Got an old SS assembler from Steve Morris building it. Thanks in advance.

since you already have crossbolted mains on the hemi, if you need main caps, i have some new material we are using thats stronger than 7075. this particular material is a forged billet vs an extruded or cast billet as 6061 and 7075 come. we can make caps to replace yours out of this new material. if your seeing the caps crack and split this will help. i just complete a set of cap for a JP1 hemi out of this material.

if you are currently experiencing cap walk, even with the cross bolts, we can modify the girdles we sell to incorporate bolting the main caps to the girdle. ideally i would replace the main caps with a set designed for the application that would allow for the use of larger diameter main studs as well as the cross bolts and then adding the girdle down below all bolted seperately, but mated to stiffen up the walls of the block.

call me and we can discuss the options further. in the other thread on bb main caps i posted some pics of what typical main cap failure looks like. this is where the better aluminum helps. also there is a pic of how our girdles and caps mate up vs what comes stock. granted the pic is of a 440 but we would do something similar for the hemi as well.
