Hi guys, installing new calipers (sliders).....my question is am I supposed to use the o-rings (square actually) - looks like they go between the caliper adapter and caliper? Are they there for noise suppression?
Just wondering if I have to install, or do most guys just pitch them?
Thanks.

X2 on tossing em. I would wire brush the grooves clean & bend the 2 L tabs on the one pad so it fits real tight on the caliper and the other pad has some lateral side play (file the ends if needed) so its loose
