I found this in a box of parts that came with my 69 Barracuda fastback but have no clue where it goes? The car has a/c. It's pointed on 0ne end and has a white ball on the other end and the rod is encased in a plastic sleeve.

Wow I just rebuilt two drain stoppers yesterday!

Except I was tired of the spring clips popping off the end of the shafts. So I used 5/16 vac line cut into 3/8 lengths and ended that problem

(btw this has to be the most extreme threadjack in Moparts history )
