I have zero experience with water meth injection. But, something comes to mind. I have a 13.2:1 compression engine that runs fine on 112 octane. With water meth would this engine survive on pump gas. What is the deciding factor as to when the injection turns on. With boost I guess it is just a switch but, what would make the determination on a NA engine?

runs off vacuum, when the vacuum drops to zeroish (engine under load) the system starts fogging. So say you are at the track, you do you brun out pull up to the the line, turn the system on, stage and nail it. While you are at WOT and enigne is under load it will spray, when you let off it shuts off. It uses a relay. The Snow Perf Stage I kit has everything you need.

So I could basically wire it up like a nitrous activation with the exception of the WOT switch. Just use a vacuum switch.

The big thing I am looking at is street driving. I need to fog whenever the engine is under load. A simple 1 gallon jug is not going to cut it. I also need to look at multiple stages to cover different amounts of load.

Again similar to nitrous just instead of timers it would be MAP switches.

Am I still clueless? Probably

I use an AIS kit on my turbo 440. At 12-13 psi 93 pump and anywhere from 50/50 mix to 100% meth, It was the same as 110 fuel and no injection. This was at 2 different tracks. One track with the pump gas and meth it was going low 9.80's at 139.5, the other track with 110 the it went mid 9.90's and about half a mph slower. There's a little more detail, but don't want to get too long winded in one post...

'72 Scamp, 3500#, 440, S400, blowthrough, meth. inj. 9.78 @ 139 so far at 12 psi, 11.00 @ 131 on real street tires.

Mine is run thru a NOS 'noid but that is not needed. It's more of a safety feture to keep the juice from "back-filling" via suction. 1 gallon will last you a loooooong time. I have a 3qt tank and can race all day w/o filling it up. That's including the drive there and back. (22miles each way) If you feel like you need more that one stage. Snow has many kits available.
