Has anyone tried injecting it ABOVE the carb.?
Don`t have room for a spray/plate under carb.
Fishing for ideas

Not sure how'd ya do it with your set-up. Most Pre-carb are on bonnet type boosted systems. You can actually drill the jet into your carb base plate if you like. The spacer is only 1/2" thick. and it WORKS..

edit.... get a drop base for that air cleaner and you're good to go.

Don`t have a 1/2" inch to spare.
That air cleaner is as"drop-base" as they get. still rubs the hood. Its only 2-1/8th" from carb. to top radius.

Drilling a hole is easy enough,what about the spray nozzles?
I`ve seen somewhere where someone sprayed above the carb. and it worked fine. Wish I could find that someone

Done some reading on the subject and it seems that it is effective injecting about anywhere. Some shoot it into the turbo inlet,various places in the inlet pipe, in the hat, under the carb.. Pick whichever works for you. http://www.theturboforums.com/threads/32...-Post-Them-Here

yes but he has a roots blower, no carb hat, just the big aircleaner assembly, not sure how'd you make that work. NOS has a "Top Shot" system that you might be able to modify. As for the jet it isn't that big. The guy that did my set up was going to drill and tap the carb base, but I got some 1/2 spacers and driled them instead.

Make a plate that fits inside the air filter assy above the carb and points down into the carb.it will be easy to plumb!

accept for all that mess on the middle!He will only need a single nozzle[625ml/min] and like the elbow coming in the baseplate pointed at the ventury or use a tab to mount the nozzle close to the opening.

Cool setup! can you post some pics of your pulley system for that blower? Interested in figuring a 10 rib system for something I'm working on....

Which water/meth injection kit are you going with?

I was planning to use one from AIS.

Not go off topic but are these setups ever used with e85?

I have an AIS tri-nozzle kit, but I have a F2 Procharger and blow thru carb. One nozzle pre-compressor and 2 in the hat. When i had a roots i was thinking of using a plate like a nitrous plate adapted for meth.

Right now I`m leaning towards a Snow Kit,However if its going to be a one-off custom I will just peice it together. I figure I can have it going around 150bucks.

I`ll share what photos I have.

I would not inject water into a motor mixed with anything I would and will inject straight alcohol H2O expands to two hundred times it size when heated and converted to steam Not much room for anything else in the combustion chambers is there Steam doesn't burn worth a hoot either

Unfortunetly I have very few pics of my stuff apart. Its is a Dick Landy kit,so possibly you might find photos if you Google that.

Some guys have redrilled Chevy pulley kits and machined/made new spacers . I`ve seen some DLI kits that were Chevy crank pulleys redrilled. Still had the 3-holes for GM stuff.
