rollerfork...I had to do a double take seeing your car! Paint look real good to me. Lots of nice looking A-bodys on this site.

Scamp451...I think you had asked about the interior...

Yes, that is it. My dad had one identical to yours. His had the factory twin scoops.

Thanks for the compliments. Now I just need the track time to get the new combination dialed in.

Ari...now that's a motor!

This my other favorite, 72 Duster. Very nice!. 2" blocks seems like a lot to get it where it is, but every car is different. I like the way that tire sits in there. I had 1" blocks on my old Scamp w/ 2800# SS springs before the back half job. Sat nice w/ 29x12 Hoosiers (springs were moved in 3"). Real close on the front though.

Did you buy 5/8" spacers or make your own?

Thanks Scamp, I bought the Calvert -1" to start with, and was not happy with the ride height. After talking to Calvert, he had nothing to offer me to lower the car. I can't believe these cars are that different but I've seen all different set ups to achieve a similar ride height to mine. I read through some old posts on here and found a few guys that said they had to run a 2" block and had no troubles at all, so I went that route. I made my own 5/8" spacer blocks to move the rear end back, and had to press the studs out and install longer bolts.

Nothing has been cut, the springs have been moved 3/4" in with the offset hangers and shackles. My wheels are 10" with 4" backspacing, but I have a custom width rearend. I knew I was buying a new Dana so I bought the wheels and tires and got them located where I wanted them then had the rearend built to that width. Thanks
