Are the originals Oilite? If so, a plain bronze bushing might not be what you need.

The bushings at Loew's state on the package that they are oil impregnated. That should be ok to use for the distributor.

My SB manual states to drive in the upper one till it is 1.163" down from a straight edge across the dist round perimeter and the lower bushing flush with the bottom housing (single point alum dist)
