I use two group 34 yellow top Optima's, the same as the one in the car. So if the car battery has a problem I can swap them.

Costco brand of thier RV marine deep cycle battery, the biggest one 6 YRS+ in my trailer, CTD Ram and street strip cars with the battery in the trunks My enclosed car trailer has a 12V electric tonque jack Superwinch 4500 lb. winch, electric start generator and two 12V lights inside, no troubles as long as I remember to turn the lights off before locking the trailer up for the week

People dont seem to understand there is 2 different
set ups to run... deep cycle and the standard batteries....
they both have their place... if you run the battery
down on a regular basis you want/need a deep cycle..
if its on a charger/alt all the time you want/need
a standard automotive style battery.. if you tow
veh have a charging circuit on the trailer(you are
charging the batt while driving) and you run a gen
at the track charging the trailer then you want the
standard batt... if you dont have this stuff you need
the deep cycle.... DONT use the wrong batt if your
not set up for it
