Need some help with my TRW power steering pump.

As the (working) pump was leaking I took it out and did a rebuild as in replacing al seals etc. Seemed to be no rpoblem, easy job. But after re-installing it it did work for a moment and later I needed to realy rev the engine to have some power steering.

Anybody have any idea what could cause this?

Thanks a lot!

Did you bleed the air out.I usually start them and run the wheel lock to lock.Just hold it on the locks for a few seconds.Sometimes it takes a bit to bleed them.Rocky

Forgot to mention but I've done that for some time yes.

Thougth maybe there's a certain way the bypass valve / spring should be installed. Was hoping somebody else had this covered in the past...
