Dartman928 OP master Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 2,792 IN	I have some numbers off a block and was wondering if someone could help decode it. Along the bottom of the block by the oil pan reads: OB232872 One the side of the block mid way up has: 25364306 11/13/69 Thanks for your help

RoadRunnerJD master Joined: May 2004 Posts: 5,123 Warrenton, VA	It's a 1970 motor. Those numbers are the last 8 of the VIN. You need to get the numbers and letters from the top front engine pad next to the distributor on the driver's side.
