I have some numbers off a block and was wondering if someone could help decode it.

Along the bottom of the block by the oil pan reads:

OB232872

One the side of the block mid way up has:

25364306

11/13/69

Thanks for your help

It's a 1970 motor. Those numbers are the last 8 of the VIN. You need to get the numbers and letters from the top front engine pad next to the distributor on the driver's side.

It came out of a 1970 Challenger, but the number is a new one to me.

0 (zero not the letter "O") = 1970

B = Hamtramck vehicle assembly plant

232872 = the last six digits of the VIN

11/13/69 = block casting date November 13, 1969

Thanks for your help

What is stamped on that pad , those are the numbers to help identify what it is less than casting numbers and date ...
