I picked up a 1970 dude recently. What headers will work for it? Will the 72-up headers work? Thanks, Tim

It is a 318/3 speed. Guess I should post some pics. I just got it a few days ago. I've never been so excited. I bought it from the original owners granddaughter. Been a farm truck its whole life.

I believe 70 has the LA motor.
Id say of his 440 had 72 up headers the small block would clear better

No.

72 and up headers should fit this truck. It is the 68 and older trucks that you run into crossmember clearance issues.

You got lucky! Nice truck. Later model headers will fit.

For the uninformed, 1966 was the last model year for the Poly in US vehicles, some Canadians got them for a couple of more years. But Mopar never say never!

You find them alot in 67 Canadian trucks, maybe all.

I just wanna put it back too new and maybe a 383/4 speed instead of the 318/3 speed. But for now just drive it. I think its the darker green. Im not sure what the code is though

NICE! You have a very rare truck there! I don't know if it has collectable value, but it might be worth checking into it's value before you change any thing. Jus' sayin'
