No that's the light.

You can kind of see the flasher in this picture.

That's what I was afraid of. Can't find the flasher.emergency works. No blinkers. I replaced the one under the column, still no turn signals. Ugh.

May be towards pass side of lower dash. Keep feeling around under there.

Look up a wiring diagram for your car online. I think there are a couple of sources. Trace out the harness per the diagram. IIRC, there are two flasher modules, one for emergency flashers and the other for the turn signal.

I found the emergency flashers, the wiring diagram shows it by the ashtray but it's nowhere to be found. I've done enough damage for tonight, we'll take up the fight again tomorrow. I'm sure it's there somewhere.
Thanks

See that square hole on the right side of the ash tray frame? I think that's where the flasher mounts on the outside.

I pulled the whole ashtray assembly out and nothing. That seemed easier than pulling the heater box. I'll dig deeper tomorrow.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
In my defensive, the light wasn't lighting, lol
I'm assuming it looks identical to the emergency flasher or pretty close. Two pronged tin can?

Have you checked the turn signal fuse with a test light?

after a good nights sleep, I found it. Waaaay in the back, almost behind the glove box. My car has the factory a/c heat box. So, It wasn't by the ashtray as I thought. Flasher replaced, blinkers working. Thanks to everyone for your help and patience.

the ashtray light is mounted into a couple of slots. the two "legs" on the base of the light are squeezed together, and fitted into the slots. it shouldnt just hang there.
