While we cleaned the tb on the truck and installed a new IAC sensor we noticed a little oil sitting under intake. I know the cause is a leaking plenum gasket. I just wanted to know what to expect while changing it, what special tools i may need, what to replace while everything is tore out, who makes the best gasket so I dont have to do this again. Thanks in advance Eric

Mopar now uses a stamped steel gasket that will not push out and leak. Pretty staight forward to change it. Be careful with the intake bolts next to the water passages in the heads thay are prone to corrode and sometimes twist off durring removal. Might wanna pick up some new bolts before you start.

My brother just did one on his V8 Grand Cherokee, it's not a quick job but by no means difficult. Only problem he had was breaking some of the 20 year old vacuum lines.
