I have been in the process of dealing with the removal of the spot welds on a replacement upper car from a donor piece. In thinking ahead is there any adhesive used that I will need to deal with? If so what is an effective method to deal with it?

I replaced an A body cowl, they are similar, besides all the spot welds you will have seam sealer holding the cowl to firewall
I just used scrapers and a putty knife to break through the seam sealer
