need some better pictures...there is some hope with the warlock dash benzel and chrome steps...but there is more to it than just those items...

but what could really confirm it would be an under hood equipment label...

Code RA5 is wheel code and is for 15x8 Gold spoke wheels. (which is for Warlock)
PY3116 is Bright Red paint code for 77

I agree, looks to an original Warlock. Has pinstriping outside and in. Chrome sidesteps.
If you can read more of underhood equipment lable it should also mention either KT1-Black trim set or KB5 for buckets or YE0 for Bucket seat package.
ZT1147 should also be coded as well for Warlock package (normally seen on shipping invoice-not so much on equipment label-but have seen on these occasionally)
GL2 for tinted glass (unless rear slider is original as these were not tinted like rest of glass)
Being 2wd would have a tuff wheel. hopefully still has.

How much is asking price?

Are you going to trade something for it or buy. I've noticed the truck for sale as well and it seems like a legit warlock. Looks to have the original paint still on it still. There seems to be few decent deals on warlock right now. There's three other ones I was checking out as well.
This one seams really decent

that 79 Slant 6/4spd is a RARE beast.

I'd pick that one

Hard to tell w/the glare.
BUT, if so, that'd be a keeper.

I took one of those out of a non-warlock. Put it in my psuedo-warlock, then before I sold it put it in my LRE. Then sold that.

I was distracted by looking for numbers when looking at it but I dont think theirs a moonnroof.
Dodge and the archives have no records on this truck "acidental distruction of records after 54" I'm hopeing to find a build sheet in it somewhere.
Either way whats the difference in value between a true warlock. Posaible warlock and clone?
The biggest things that is throwin me off right now is its a single line pinstripe with no art over the wheel wells.

Restored values are virtually the same. #1 reason I regret painting my LRE red. There were alot of decal kits in the '70's and that is not Warlock. Even the corners are wrong for that. If you're talented and have the right color tape with the right width you can copy it pretty close sans corners.

The pinstripe are good quality painted pins that look to be the same age as the rest of the paint.
Could yall post pics of proper seats and steering wheels for the warlock? And did the D150s come with the ra571 rims or was it just the Warlocks?

Are there pinstripes anywere on the inside of the doors? It think the warlocks had them there also along with around the gauges.

You could option out chrome steps on a pickup w/o the warlock package, but to see the pinstripes on the dash bezel is a sign, the exterior stripes look a little odd, they should have been stickers, not painted. I think you could also option out wagon wheels, tuff wheel, bucket seats etc. and still not be a warlock. THe warlock was basically just a trim package available in any SWB engine/drivetrain combo.

not the right stripes for a 79...they are the right ones for a 78...that being said, the hood stripes are not right either....
the stripes on the 79 go up on the rear part of the cab and go up to the roof..

Do you have a guide to the stripes by year? If not could you make one? Id like to ad this info to my toolkit.

You'll have to do your own search for that. Custom painted stripes were very popular in the 70's. This truck I bought was wrecked and repainted with custom pin striping except door & tailgate decal.

Thanks for the help everyone.
I did buy the truck.
I think it is just an optioned out D100, happy with the deal eitherway. I was wrong the pins are tape not painted. The was no pinstripes on the doors and no sunroof.
I'll search for the buildsheet tommorow and post all the codes from it.
If it isn't a Warlock it will eventualy become a nice shop truck possibly a Midnight express clone.

I got the Dodge home and after parking it I noticed that it gave the road in front of my street a set of custom raceing stripes.
a couple of interesting pics will follow. 1 and 2 are the underhood paperwork.
3 and 4 are pinstripe scroll remains on the lower doors and fender.
5 is the interior. Love the home made center seat "custom seat, oil gauge and stereo.
6 is the door Id tags

I realy love what they did in the interior.
Would I shoot myself in the foot by doing a modern sound system, armrest with cupholders airide or lowering and bringing everthing else back to original?
Or would it be more valuable as a strict restoration?

If you plan to sell it stock is where the money will be. Mod will potentially drop the value alot. If you plan to keep for a Long time and enjoy it build it how you want.

Seats look like Ford van.

The 4th line down on the left says (I think) "conversion" something.
360 motor? 727?
Elusive pre production, test vehicle, Lil Red ... I can see it all now ...

LOL

It takes gasoline to interest me.

I realy love what they did in the interior.
Would I shoot myself in the foot by doing a modern sound system, armrest with cupholders airide or lowering and bringing everthing else back to original?
Or would it be more valuable as a strict restoration?

The only collector value is in low mileage unrestored trucks of the 'Adult Toys' era and the value is not that great.
If you must restore it, do it for yourself, or your grand kids but don't do it for the money. Been there done that.
