I run race gas in a car that runs Street Eliminator ( 11.50-19.99) I go 11.50s, I`m tired of the price and availability problems of race gas, so I`m building a pump gas motor.

Sledgie were you the one with the vids of running a challenger in a garage with the door closed just before the car got mad and attacked you?

he just sits at home trying to come up with stir the pot posts.

Naaaa .... Just razzin Dom some... He takes some jabs just giving back as he cries about my engine.... Funny thing though people build smaller motors then cry that's all they got (not everyone maybe just Dom)

MrP if love to be light but I'm not gutting it all out as removing inner fenders and crap it is what it is

Show me a post where I "cried" about your 572 engine.............all I ever said was it SHOULD haul ass with what motor that`s it. I don`t cry about anything too old for that and life`s too short so enjoy your bad ass car and I`ll keep playing w/my trash then maybe somehow we can make that race happen. Just so you know, this stuff doesn`t rile me I actually get motivated and energized............when I get riled bad thing hapen and I break out in hand-cuffs.............peace!

Well they say lower octane will make more power than higher octane all other things being equal (as long as there's no detonation).

and peanut oil will cook at higher temp's than vegtable oil !! All you guys running pump gas better get some peanut oil in your crankcase , no more synthetic race oils , i can run mine on peanut oil ! !

Did you go out much this year? I really enjoy test & tune nights. You get to see different cars and have more time to bs but I only hit about 6 of them this year. That string of weather in the 90's on race day really did me in. Time to hit the gym and get some extra weight on this old body.

I ever do a completely different engine it will be aluminum low deck or aluminum HEMI...

People build there cars how they like that is fine (not knocking it) but I just cant see building a street car that needs $10-$12 a gallon fuel to cruise around

Why does that bother you so much? Personally, I wouldn't put the absolute worst fuel known to Mankind into my 7-10K+ motor... I just don't see the fascination with running junk fuel????.... Especially when the FACT is MOST people are LUCKY to put 2-3K miles/year on their cars.... I can fill my stock fuel tank up and drive at least 200 miles, and I honestly don't drive that much in one day.... Plus, I've been out driving around and got low on fuel so I just added 5 gallons of crap gas and limped the car home...

If you want to spend what it costs to build an all new 700hp 572 to run on junk fuel, that's your business....but I don see why it bothers you so much when someone builds a much cheaper motor and wants to run good fuel???? all I can say is that you need grow up and stop worrying about what other people are doing...

If you can't handle the truth, you're living a lie.......
