I laugh at the ones that keep saying "your car is lighter than mine"... well lighten yours up... to me its easier to build a bigger engine but it can be a PITA to lighten up the car.. its easier on parts and be quicker

I think it is funny you coming on here about your 572 440-1 headed motor compairing it to his edelbrock headed small motor compaired to yours and will still run door handle to door handle with u.Give Dom some credit his car runs dang good.
3120lb, small block, 10.5" tire, NA, through exhaust, full int, WITH 83/4 REAR, 9.0 at 150mph

I remember some of sledgies posts when he built his dart. Did the accident happen early in the build? I remember him being frustrated trying to correct minor problems and him having problems comprehending the advice of others. Such a shame hopefully time will help with his recovery.
Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.
