I don't get why would you need it? Thumper needs it I don't ! I roll on street gas ! Race gas is for race cars!

Have you got a problem boy.............You keep safely taking jabs at me from behind your keyboard so what`s your problem? My fuel comes from the pump at Arco......just like E-85 does. I`m going to go beat on my drums for a few hours and will be thinking about you and you tude................peace!

You keep dissin' on my "big" engine... but I can race on any gas in america not some of these specialty pump gas stations... I don't care if someone has a big block or small block but I hate when they cry what they got... your 500lbs lighter than me and I still would drag you down the track with your gutted out race car! I mean geez your car has a rattle can paint job and bullet holes in it just to try and save weight

here is a pic of mine! ignore the fire extinguisher it's for emergencies cause i'm not sure of my wiring

maybe we can meet up at monster mopar in august $$$ or whenever it is around that time cause my junk will hook up in a car wash.

I laugh at the ones that keep saying "your car is
lighter than mine"... well lighten yours up... to
me its easier to build a bigger engine but it can be
a PITA to lighten up the car.. its easier on parts
and be quicker

My little 360 runs on 91 octane in a 4200# truck and still manages 10.90s on it at the track on the 91 octane. It drives thousands of miles in that configuration.

I DO however add race gas for insurance when I turn it up enough to make it go 10.60s. I MIGHT be able to do it without the race gas - but race gas is WAAYYYY cheaper than new parts. I'm not quite sure why anybody would have a problem with the fuel I use. I don't hear anybody bagging on people for running slicks at the track. What's the difference?

And here I thought Sledgie sold the car and retired from racing. I didn't see it at the track this year.

Naaaa .... Just razzin Dom some... He takes some jabs just giving back as he cries about my engine.... Funny thing though people build smaller motors then cry that's all they got (not everyone maybe just Dom)

MrP if love to be light but I'm not gutting it all out as removing inner fenders and crap it is what it is

I remember some of sledgies posts when he built his dart. Did the accident happen early in the build? I remember him being frustrated trying to correct minor problems and him having problems comprehending the advice of others. Such a shame hopefully time will help with his recovery.
