I gave Owen a big kiss and asked him how much he loved me. He opened up his arms as wide as they would go. Then I asked him if he knew how much I loved him. Again, he opened up his arms as wide as they would go.






Doctors can do amazing things. They'll take good care of him. Thank you for keeping us posted and I'll keep up the prayers.

Surgery is going well. They are just starting to "close". However, "closing" will take an hour and a half. I hope they were able to get a good portion of it.

Thats great news!!! With a little bit of Chemo and maybe some radiation , he'll be a good as new in no time. Hopefully by next Christmas all this will be on the back burner and forgot about . hang in there .

On a side note 2 years ago they found what they thought was a spot on my thymph node by my throat area. Did scope surgery to find it wasn't cancerous I am wishing my good fortune then on you guys now that this isn't cancerous but just a growth! Stay strong! Like others said this is nothing that God doesn't know you and your family can handle. This will just make this and every Xmas from here on out that much more special to everyone!

The surgeon came to talk to us about 20 minutes ago. He said he's 99% sure he knows what type of cancer it is. He said that type is know to spread a lot. Owen's tumor sprouted a couple fingers...one towards the outside of the brain and one towards the inside. Everyone we talked to said this surgeon is the leading surgeon for childrens brain tumors. He must be because he got a smile on his face and said "I GOT IT"

He said there is still a long road ahead but this was the big hump that we had to get over. He said Owen's prognosis is much better now that he was able to remove the entire tumor.
