Ok, so way back up in this thread I shared some pics of my friend Kenny's 65 Cuda and his 65 Valiant wagon. He's been letting me race the wagon for the last few years. Over Christmas he focused his energy on the wagon and put on a passenger side quarter panel and sanded the car down to bare metal. We took the car over to another friend's shop on New Year's Eve and he painted it "rat rod" black. This is just a temporary paint job to get through a few more years of racing but it turned out pretty good. Now he's working on a new motor for it aiming for mid-low 10s.

heres a picture of my 65 dart

I got a bunch of pictures of the early part of the build on this 65 Dart. Does the Dana 60 still have the 4-link brackets on it. I removed it from my cuda when we redone the back. Chassis guy gave the 4 link crossmember to the scrap man. Really screwed us as we were going to make the car 4-link with leaf spring floaters for a class running back then.

I wanted to buy this car every time Mike got a wild hair and wanted to sell. But, was in the middle of a financial issue as I was paying for two houses at the time. A few little things I would have wanted to change. I guess the car no longer has the 427 Arrington head small block in it. That car would have easily ran 5.3's with a little, I mean little, NOS.
